See each player's quiz answers

Answer Breakdown saves each player's answer to every quiz question at your event, so you can see who needs a follow-up and which questions to cover again. It is on every paid plan: a Party pass, Pro and Enterprise.

1. Turn on Record answers

1. Open the event from Events and go to its Settings tab.
2. Turn on Record answers.

Turn it on before the event's first session starts. Players already in a game were never told their answers are kept, so recording can't start partway through. Every Live Session in the event records, including sessions you add later. You can turn it off at any time, and recording stops at once.

On the Free plan the switch shows a lock and a See plans link.

2. What players see

While answers are recorded, the join screen says "The organiser will see your answer to each question" under the Join button. Players still join with just a name. Their answers are saved under that name, and only you can read them.

3. What is recorded

Each round of Trivia, Unscramble, Missing Letter, Odd One Out and Sub-Words played live on phones. For each player: their answer, whether it was right, how long they took and the points it scored. Someone who didn't answer is recorded as no answer, not as wrong.

In teams, each member's answer is saved with their team's name. When only the team lead may answer, the lead's answer stands for the team.

One-host sessions and other games are not recorded.

4. Read the report

1. Open the event's Report tab and select View Analytics on a session.
2. Select the Answers tab.

• Needs follow-up lists everyone under your cut-off, lowest score first. Pick 50%, 60%, 70% or 80%; it starts at 60%.
• Questions to cover again lists what fewer than 35% of players got right, with the answer and the most common wrong one.
• Select a name to see each question, their answer, the right answer and how long they took.
• Download CSV gives you every answer, one line per person per question.

Names are as players typed them, so someone who rejoined under a different name shows twice.

If your plan ends

When a Party pass or Pro ends, nothing new is recorded. Everything already recorded stays in the session's Answers tab and its CSV.
